Generally for profit businesses cannot be promoted or listed on Josiah's list however there are some exceptions. If a for-profit company has a program that offers 40% or more off their products or services based on income, then it may be allowed. However those products and services have to be considered essential services like housing, utilities, Healthcare, transportation, clothing, hygiene, internet, phone, Animal Services such as spayed and neuter. Any site contributor/remember that violates this will receive one warning. A second offense and their user account will be permanently suspended. It is the responsibility of all site contributors/members to report any such activity to an admin that has administrative controls to remedy the situation. Any site contributor that encourages another contributor to violate this rule may also find their account suspended. The entire goal and purpose of Josiah's list is to reduce human suffering and even where possible eliminate human suffering. Everything the unrestrained capitalistic system is able to sync its claws into becomes part of the problem. And because of this any efforts to use Josiah's list as a place to find customers for a business will be met with swift action.

If a post does not follow the established structure laid out in the about section of each group thin site admins reserve the right to edit and or worst case scenario delete the resource post if it is completely inappropriate. If a resource post is placed in the wrong section site admins reserve the right to copy the information posted where appropriate and delete the resource original post. All resource post or comments should not ever contain profanity if a post or comment does site admins reserve the right to edit or delete based on which action will be more appropriate.
