Here at the Food Pantry, we understand that a crisis such as a natural disaster, loss of a family member, loss of employment, and health problems can add pressure to everyday life. Did you know that we support individuals and families experiencing hunger with a program that provides emergency food every 30 days, financial assistance for utilities, referrals, and assistance in applying for benefits under the Texas Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (also known as “SNAP”)? We are here to help you move forward with the necessary resources.

Eligibility: An applicant must be a Bastrop County resident at least 18 years of age, a head of household and in need of food because an emergency:

• The household is 185% below the federal poverty guideline or a household that has a crisis situation

• Lost, stolen or delayed income…
