Appointments are required, please call ahead to ensure service. This Community Center provides services to residents of The City of Austin and Travis County. Assistance with the payment of utilities and other basic needs services are available including case management for self-sufficiency. Individuals can get assistance from the food pantry once every 30 days and other assistance is limited availability. Please call for more information about assistance or to schedule an appointment to pick up food. South Austin Neighborhood Center also has a senior program with games, activities and a hot lunch Mondays through Fridays from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm


This center is off of Oltorf, west of the HEB at South Congress and Oltorf. It is also near the Community Care Clinic at 2529 S. First Street.


The closest bus is #10 and it stops at the Community Care Clinic. Visitors can then take the walk bridge across Bouldin Creek to the Center.
